Other posts on this project: Monochromatic Pillow Pt. 1.

This is my progress so far. I didn’t make it to the March Philly Modern Quilt Guild meeting, and I haven’t finished the project. Since I started this for the March challenge, I’m not sure what I’ll do with it now. It’s about 28″ square. I’m thinking of possibly working it into a full-size quilt, but I haven’t decided for sure yet. This is going in the unfinished for now.

The March challenge for the Philly Modern Quilt Guild is making a monochromatic quilt. Anything we want, any size and any color scheme. I’ve decided to go with shades of blue and make another big couch pillow.

Last night was the October meeting of the Philly Modern Quilt Guild. It was a long night, I spend about 3 hours in the car every time I go to a meeting. But, I love these girls. So I wouldn’t miss it (unless I absolutely have to).

Last night Julie, Candi, Tricia, and I (all Philly Mod Guild chicas) spent 6 hours sorting out 13,000 quilt blocks at Julie’s parents’ house. The blocks were from the 2nd Modern Siggy Swap, which Julie organized.

Finally! I have made a new giant pillow to replace the crusty old bed pillows I use for lounging around on the couch. I’m completely in love with this cushion, and next I’m making one for Adam in manlier colors.
