I’ve been on a break from blogging for a couple of weeks while I got ready for the holidays. And they’ve arrived! They came, they saw, they spread festive cheer all over the house! My in-laws just left this morning, and I’m looking around the house figuring out where we’re going to put everything.

I think it’s pretty safe to say that this will be the last make of my 2015. I finished this quilt right after my last post about it, in time to really enjoy some quality relaxing under it before Christmas. I just love it, this was a great one to end the year.

This month has been so grim. And I have much to say on the grimness, but also on the good stuff. And it’s been a long day that began with me getting my finger dissected, so right now I feel like talking about good stuff! I want to post some pictures of Santa! And our tree! I’ve finished all the quilting on this Christmas quilt, and I’ve made up the binding. So now I just need to bind this quilt, and it’s ready for the couch!

This is the year I’m doing it, I’m making a twin-size Christmas quilt for the living room. It’s always been on my list, I’ve never actually done it.

I fired up Love Actually on my laptop and combed through all the holiday prints I’ve been hoarding for years now.

‘Tis the season! And it’s been a great one, but I could sleep for days. I made a huge Christmas Eve dinner, Christmas dinner, and some stuff for Boxing Day brunch this morning. I’ve never used so much butter, cream, and flour in all my days.
