Meet Supergirl. I picked up this Simplicity pattern last month, thinking I’d make it at some point for her dress up box. At the time, she’d told me she wanted to be a horse for Halloween. Then she saw the pattern.

And was so excited I knew this was it for Halloween. I asked her which hero she wanted to be, she immediately said “SUPERGIRL!”

So I bought a mountain of spandex, made a few mistakes, and got this costume together in 3 or so weeks.

The boot covers were the hardest part. Man, those took forever. But I got it in the end. And she is so happy, she wants to be Supergirl all the time.
