Pizza is my favorite food on earth. It is the one thing I would never be able to give up. So Adam always asks me why I don’t make pizza at home. I don’t have a lot of patience for making the dough, honestly. That’s something I need to get over, I know. But our neighborhood Whole Foods sells pizza dough in their deli department, and I decided to try that out. I’m off today and Adam’s working from home, so I made pizza for lunch. It was unbelievably good and easy! Now I may never learn to make dough if all I have to do is run to Whole Foods and pick some up.

I had an entertaining time rolling out the dough into a roughly round shape. I think this is the first time I’ve ever used that pizza pan.

Topped with marinara sauce, smoked and fresh mozzarella, and prosciutto.

I was so excited when it came out of the oven that I didn’t get any pictures of the finished product in focus. I looked on Food Network to see the temp and time for baking the pizza. Not surprisingly, it was a Giada recipe that gave me instructions on baking the pizza. 450? for 15 minutes on a rack in the middle (put the other rack on the very bottom rung, I don’t know why).
