So thats 2011, then. This is what I looked like for 12 months. I have no idea if Ill keep taking photos of myself this year, but if I do itll be great to look back next year and see the before Hannah and after Hannah versions of myself.
And now its time for my resolutions. I know a lot of people who think New Years resolutions are pointless, but Im not one of them. A new year is a clean slate, and I love imagining who or how I will be for the next 12 months. And at the end of every year its so revealing to me to look back at my resolutions and see how far I’ve come since January. But since my head is in a different place this year, so is my list. So here goes:
- On January 1, 2012 I’m happy. Really, truly happy. And I have lots of reasons to stay that way for the foreseeable future, so don’t forget them.
- Remember to be grateful.
- Be as domestic as humanly possible (cooking, quilting, crafting) on the limited amount of sleep I’ll be getting.
- Try to break my 2011 Books Read record of 202, but don’t go crazy if I can’t.
- Decide what kind of mom I want to be.
- Show Hannah everything.
