We put our house on the market last month and have started packing away. Which means it’s a little quiet here on the creativity front–we’re keeping the house tidy for showings, so no ongoing projects out and taking over my studio. I’ve already started packing some supplies, and the stuff that’s boxed up now I won’t see again until we’re in a house in Seattle, after we rent for a few months.

Another busy month that’s short on photos. But a great month! We’ve got a few big projects happening around here that I’ll post about as I get through photos and find some time. But H had her 6th birthday, which was amazing (still need to post that one, sheesh). And we’ve just been busy. Have I said we’ve been busy? Yeah, I can’t overstate that. I will post more soon, and I will try to be better about photos for April.

I finished a bunch of big deadlines at work last month, and I managed to get H’s Halloween costume made. Somehow. I’m still not sure how I did that.
I didn’t take many photos, but it was an overdrive kind of month. This towels guide I updated was published, I’d been working on it since I started in July. And I wrote this new guide to cutting machines, which I’d also been working on for months. It was great to see those two published. I’ve turned in a few more things, and I did quick updates to a couple of others. Work is great.

I haven’t posted since H’s first day of school, it’s just the start of the busy season around here. I haven’t started her Halloween costume yet, and we’re still settling in to the school year. Plus we’ve hired a new sitter, and I’m heading into a lot of holiday deadlines with work.

Officially started my new job last month! I’ve been going into the office about once a week, and I love the work. But other than the days when I’ve had to look presentable for work or meetings, it has been tees, shorts, no makeup, whatever shoes I can throw on. This is me every summer. I have such good intentions, and I kind of shlub my way through July and August until September 1st comes, and even if it’s still 90 degrees I officially declare it turtleneck and boot weather.
