The awards were announced this past Monday, and for the first time since I’ve been a librarian I wasn’t able to watch the whole presentation live. I had 2 classes back to back, and I tried to listen in the background while checking out books. But it didn’t quite work out that way.

Anyway, here’s the list of winners. A lot of these I haven’t read, I really need to get back into current kidlit this year. I spent a lot of time on classics I missed/read when I was very young. The only category where I hit every book is the Theodor Seuss Geisel Award.

I linked all of the books, but not the audio books and videos. They were harder to source.
