Mostly because, well…it snowed yesterday.

This is a sad dusting compared to what north Jersey and NY state got. I mean, schools are closed up there and lots of people have no power. It was a gross storm here yesterday, but we kept power. And this was the extent of our snowfall.

Yesterday we got back from a 4 night trip to Miami. It was awesome, but man alive was it hot. I won’t be going back to Miami in summer anytime soon. The days were brutal, but the nights were fantastic. And so was the food. And so was seeing the house from the Bruce Willis episode of Miami Vice (the only episode I remember with details, love that guy).

Best part of the weekend! Seeing the house from the Bruce Willis episode of Miami Vice! We were on a Duck Tour.

I worked on the quilt, cooked, read, had brunch with my mother and went fabric shopping, looked through magazines that had been piling up since winter, went for an Indian Head Massage for some migraine relief, watched the Netflix movie that’s been lying around here since April, finished another audio book, shopped some summer sales online, made a new playlist for my commute, and topped it off with Adam and I playing with the grill for dinner tonight. Even my relaxation is busy. But it’s the first weekend in ages where I don’t have the Sunday Night Blues because I did so much fun and productive stuff.
