Other posts on this trip: Legoland Windsor, Liberty of London!

We were in the UK for two weeks, and we divided the trip into thirds: a third in Southern England with one set of family, a third just the three of us at a Center Parcs resort, and a third in Northern England with our other set of family. And we packed in the activities as soon as we landed. Legoland, London. This is everything else we did during our first third. Fancy dinner! Fabric shopping! A model village!

Other posts on this trip: Legoland Windsor

On the first leg of our UK trip, we were staying outside of London with one set of my in-laws. So we did Legoland, then the next day we went into London. Fish and chips for lunch! Savile Row!

legoland 8

We just got home the other day from two weeks in the UK. We spent some time visiting my in-laws and hanging out as a family in various spots around England. Our first big outing was to Legoland, a first for Hannah. She loved it, we had a blast running around Windsor! You could see the castle in the distance and everything.

spring break 2016 1

Hannah and I hit the road this week for three nights in Lancaster county. We did this two years ago, and then again that same summer with my mom, and it was great. Last year we were in Las Vegas for spring break, but this year we didn’t have any plans. And H is a little older, we don’t need the stroller. She was much more into it this trip. We did a lot of fabric shopping for Mommy, but we also saw tons of trains and animals for her.

When in Maine, visit lighthouses. And walk on bluffs if you can. And play in a field. And lay in the grass. And enjoy where you are.

This is an understatement. We did spend a day in Ogunquit during our trip, which basically involved having lunch at The Wild Blueberry and then walking the mile-long Marginal Way from Ogunquit to Perkins Grove. Then taking the trolley back. Hannah wasn’t up for beach shenanigans really at all on this trip, she was a little under the weather.

This little spot in Kennebunkport, Maine is splendid. I think this was the best thing we did with Hannah all week, and the next time we’re in Maine we should go back.

We just got home last night from a week-long family trip to Maine. Everyone’s been hit with a cold, but somehow today I’m the only one still under the weather. So I’m going through my photos and trying to get back into the swing of home life.

Other posts on this trip: Spring Break in Las Vegas on the Strip.

As much fun as we had running around on the Strip, I think it’s safe to say we had way more fun on this trip sightseeing in the rest of Las Vegas and the desert beyond. There were so many cool things to do.
