The hilarious Michael Ian Black (also writer of last year’s Chicken Cheeks) teams up with my current favorite author/illustrator Peter Brown in a great story of a monkey who can read your mind. And you’re thinking of a purple kangaroo..aren’t you? Are you sure you’re not? You will be by the end of this book, and so will the kids reading it. It’s dynamite, a funny crowd-pleaser that begs for kids to chime in and laugh out loud. Peter Brown’s illustrations are smooth, colorful, and full of life. Definitely going on my next book order!
