Yesterday my brother and Kathryn brought his 2 kids over to meet the baby. We’ve been trying for a few weeks to get the kids together, but we’ve had a lot of spring illnesses flying around lately.

I took my mom and Grace for proper high tea at The Russian Tea Room on Saturday. This was the 2nd part of their March birthday presents, and I loved it. So much fun, I hardly ever get to spend a whole day just with the girls. I really loved it. But, I’ve got to say I’m having the worst luck with my camera lately. Last week I forgot the memory card for the red and white quilt show. Yesterday I remembered the memory card, and I even remembered a spare set of batteries for backup. Last year when we took my niece Grace to see Santa, it didn’t go so well. This year was so much better for her, and my nephew Kyle (who is 10) came, too. We went yesterday and had a great day, but I’ve been sick on and off this weekend and pretty much crashed when we got home.

Grace bounced up and down pretty much the entire time we were on line for Santa.

Yesterday we celebrated my niece Grace’s 3rd birthday (it’s actually next Saturday), and today was my mom’s birthday. We went to Quilt Fest NJ to see her very first quilt entered into competition. A pretty cool birthday treat. My mom and I met up when the show opened to cruise the floor before Adam, my brother, and Grace arrived at lunchtime.
