If you have not done goat yoga…go do goat yoga. I never posted photos from this, but Meredith asked months ago if anyone wanted to go with her to Mad Lavender Farm for some yoga, but with goats. which is a trend sweeping the nation if you didn’t already know (true fact). And, YES. I wanted to go.

The two outings we’ve done on this trip have both been animal centered because H is a deep animal lover. Like, owns several vet doctor’s kits, loves Doc McStuffins, treats pretend animals, and has been making us play “water hospital,” a game she invented, in the pool through this entire trip. So yesterday it was the Croco Cun Zoo, and this morning she and I swam with the dolphins at Delphinus Puerto Morelos.

We haven’t left the resort in 4 days, but this morning we headed out to Croco Cun Zoo, which is right nearby. It was so much fun! It’s an interactive zoo that used to be a crocodile farm. They have more than 200 crocodiles hanging out around the place. It’s not a wandering zoo, you get a guided tour (and bring tip money, our guide was well worth it). It takes about an hour to walk through, but you pet some very cool animals that are almost all local to Mexico. They also take in rescues and confiscated animals that people used to keep as wild pets.

We really only spent two full days in Mystic, but on Good Friday we had a lazy morning at the hotel and then headed out with Hamilton in tow to grab lunch. We went to Sea View Snack Bar, right down the road from Mystic Seaport, and sat outside with him eating lobster rolls, french fries, and hot dogs. He had his very own hot dog, he was in his doggy glory.
This week is H’s spring break, and so far it’s been pretty up and down. On Monday we booked a trip for H, Hamilton, and me to head to Mystic for the second half of the week. Spring break fun with me and the small ones! But then I woke up Tuesday with another sore throat, went to my doctor’s walk-in clinic, and confirmed that I had strep. Again. Second time in two weeks.
