I was really devastated back in June when I found out I would be transferring to a different school next year. I was upset with the whole situation, so around the middle of July I decided to just look and see if any other jobs for elementary school librarians had opened up. And I found one in a neighboring school district and applied on the last day of the posting. And as of their board meeting this past Tuesday, I officially got the job! I resigned from my old school district yesterday, I’d been waiting to post about this until everything was official.
