The wonderful ladies from the Princeton alumni chapter of my sorority, Phi Mu, threw me a baby shower at Nicholas on Saturday. Audrey, the matriarch of the group, organized the whole thing, and it was really sweet. I had a great afternoon. Audrey took my obsession with cupcakes and turned it into the theme for the day, which I loved.

I’m kind of obsessed with the shower cake, from Blue Sheep Bake Shop. The baker read this blog and pulled all the things I liked into it.

How cool is the fondant quilt?

The food at Nicholas was delicious, as always.

I’ll be putting the favors in H’s room to start training her for a Phi Mu future. She’ll be the 3rd legacy to join this chapter in 2 years, it will be quite a rec writing party when all these girls get ready for college.

And, of course, great company.

I’m really blessed, I can’t thank my friends and family enough. Two beautiful showers that were just so perfectly me, an easy pregnancy (knock on wood), and tons of support and generosity. I feel great all things considered, I’ve actually really loved being pregnant (I’m already starting to miss the idea of it), and I’m 34.5 weeks along. It’s almost time to meet H, I think she dropped over the weekend!

She’s getting close. 🙂
