Today was the big day, my father-in-law’s 60th birthday party. It’s been in the works for a year now, and finally the day has come and gone without a hitch.

First up was a concert from one of the most famous lutenists alive today, Hopkinson “Hoppy” Smith. He was absolutely brilliant, and he even wrote a song dedicated to Adam’s dad John. “John Reeve, May Green be His Sleeve.” Then we¬†had an incredibly and extremely elaborate meal at Waterside Inn (where we’re also staying tonight), one of 2 3-star Michelin restaurants in Bray.
